Data Management Process
| Your offshore staff is equipped with Windows XP and the full Microsoft Office suite. Depending on your needs and software requirements we will determine which option best fits your organization. |
Remote Connectivity Options
| This is the standard Microsoft-sponsored remote-access solution. A Remote Desktop setup allows PSG Offshore to access computers and systems at your site. Accordingly, data and software are secure. If your company has a pre-configured VPN or Virtual Private Network, this may be the best option for you. VPN allows a remote user to log in through the Internet as if the remote computer were plugged into the local network accordingly data and software are secure. All employees are assigned an always-on email account for quick, convenient communication of messages and smaller file attachments. This would be ideal if no access to your proprietary systems is needed. FTP is a tried-and true method for uploading and downloading large files through the Internet. PSG Offshore Resources sets up a dedicated FTP account for your business, which enables you to transfer files that are too large or too numerous to be emailed. This would be suitable for large files that need to be manipulated in Excel. This application is a streamlined option that facilitates transferring large quantities of paperwork. It is quick, easy and inexpensive. After scanning your documents, your file is uploaded to a heavily-firewalled server in the Philippines, with a redundant copy stored on a U.S. server. Your offshore staff accesses your file in accordance with their specific job functions. |
Telephony Process
| PSG Offshore Resources provides instant local telephone service as well as other options that may be of interest to you. As part of our service PSG Offshore resources will provide you with a local phone number for your offshore staff so you will not incur any long distance charges. PSG Offshore Resources maintains a worldwide network of Voice-Over-IP servers for local-access dialing throughout the United States. You can have direct dialogue with your offshore employees by dialing the local number which we provide to you. PSG Offshore also boasts an effective conference room and conference phone setup for trans-Pacific meetings and online training programs. |

Disaster recovery
Just like most U.S. businesses, our offshore location has the most up to date data and systems recovery processes available. Your information and investment will be protected by:
We also have 24/7 monitoring of all systems with auto-paging and BlackBerry access for our technology teams in the U.S. and the Philippines. It is also important to note that our location in Cebu , Philippines is minimally susceptible to national disasters. The island is totally surrounded by other islands limiting any potential impact from storms; in fact the last major typhoon to hit the Cebu island was in 1993. This was probably one of the main reasons that it was the very first island (of over 7,000 islands that make up the Philippines ) that the Spanish decided to settle. Cebu has had no material earthquake activity; and the island has a solid infrastructure originally built up from former United States military presence. |
